Travel Behavior

PTV NuStats’ largest field of study is documenting demographic and travel behavior characteristics to support statewide and regional travel demand model updates. PTV NuStats has provided high quality data summarizing the travel of more than 500,000 households to support travel demand model updates in 75 regions across the country.

PTV NuStats is not only one of the few research firms in the U.S. that specializes in the measurement and analysis of travel behavior, it is an acknowledged pacesetter in the field.  Our continuous and extensive involvement in household travel surveys has led to the introduction of innovations and technology to address the changing household travel survey environment.   These range from GPS and smart phone data collection to real-time geocoding of travel diary data through our proprietary software.
