Overview
Suzanne Foster is a graduate of Wayne State University, where she received her Bachelors in Operations Management and a minor in Finance. She holds over 15 years experience in Operations, Finance, and Management which have enabled her to bring a strategic overall focus to the organization. She has several years of upper management experience and oversight of all company operations including, staffing and capacity forecasting and planning, production planning, tracking and reporting, budget/financial management, business development, strategy and expansion planning. She has managed workforces of 10- 2,500 employees.
Ms. Foster's experience is comprised of strategic planning, performance improvement and management, operational effectiveness and training and development along with visualizing new concepts. She has been responsible for planning and overseeing resource planning, production schedules and budget allocation for all data collection tasks and teams, including multiple PTV NuStats sites and specialized subcontracted firms. She has conceptualized the development of an innovative training curriculum and management plan for the data collection team, created processes to maintain highly qualified staff throughout project duration. She has implemented and overseen project teams across multiple projects while maintaining inter-departmental as well as client communications to ensure timely and budgetary fulfillment of complex sampling plans and geographical quotas.
Project Experience (Selected)
Oahu Household Travel and Visitor Survey (2011-2012) Data Collection Director. Planning and oversight of resource planning, production schedules and budget allocation for all data collection tasks and teams. Supervision of local Hawaiian call center productivity, CATI scripts, and other functions.
NYMTC Regional Household Travel Phase 3 Main Survey (2011-2011) Data Collection Director. Planning and oversight of resource planning, production schedules and budget allocation for all data collection tasks and teams.
California Statewide Household Travel Main Survey (2011-2012) Data Collection Director 2011. Statewide combination of one and two-day travel survey of 60,000 households. Assisted in the development of a management plan for the data collection of this massive statewide sampling population.
