Overview
Ms. Rodriguez is PTV NuStats' IT/BP(Business Processing) Director. She has been with the firm for 15 years and specializes in systems development for quality assurance, programming, business processing, and database management. An extremely skilled relational database programmer with extensive experience in the application of Microsoft Access for database design, implementation, programming, data transfer and transformation, and database security, her expertise is in setting up multiple relational database modules, linked by unique identifiers for data processing, querying, reporting, and searching.
Through her project work at NuStats, she has incorporated relational database theory into normalized database design, taking into account data integrity and performance issues; created and managed database objects such as tables, indexes, constraints, etc.; created queries and written stored procedures and triggers that return record sets and adjust database performance; imported and exported data from one source to another using specialized tools; and managed use of logins, users, and roles for server, database, and object security.
She has experience in the coordination and implementation of PTV NuStats' Continuous Data Flow (CDF) process, which ensures the highest-quality research and allows for quicker data deliveries to our clients on all projects. She is also highly involved in the firm's application of technology for survey research purposes, including e-CATI, TripTracer, TripBuilder, TrueRoute, and GPS technologies. She works on all of PTV NuStats' transportation surveys, including all current travel surveys and other non-transportation surveys.
