Cheryl Stecher

Overview

Dr. Stecher has over 23 years of experience in travel behavior survey research, management consulting, change management, strategic planning, business process review, and organizational structure analysis. While serving as president of Applied Management and Planning Group (AMPG), she directed over a dozen large-scale household travel surveys, including the 1990 survey for the Southern California Association of Governments, and surveys for the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG).

Dr. Stecher has served as a senior technical consultant to PTV NuStats since August, 2010, providing methodological leadership, technical oversight, and strategic counsel.  In January, 2012, she became the project director for the 2010 California Household Travel Survey, the largest and most complex statewide travel survey conducted in the United States.  At the same time, she was appointed as PTV NuStats Senior Vice President for Research, which includes providing guidance and oversight to the project managers of the firm's travel survey efforts.
