Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI)

The PTV NuStats primary data collection approach is Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing. Instrument development is handled by client-oriented project managers, with senior level reviews, and where appropriate cognitive testing. Our programmers have over 15 years of experience using VOXCO CATI software. All data collection is conducted in-house in one of two of our call center facilities which have a combined capacity of 150 interviewing stations. The San Marcos and Edinburg sites operate state-of-the-art data collection utilizing an intricate, centralized web-based management system supported by VOXCO’s Command Center software. This modern infrastructure optimizes the efficiency of managing computer-assisted-telephone-interviewing while also providing a platform for remote interviewing and complete remote visual and audio client monitoring.
